The Facebook tutorial for this is by using the official application from twitter in facebook. You can find it by searching through the search bar at the top of facebook page, using keyword twitter in section application, or you can just click the link below. Remember you have to be log on to your facebook account first.
- Go to application
- You will be ask to login using your twitter account, so you must login to your twitter account using the same browser.
- There will be a confirmation like this pict. Click Allow to allow the application link your facebook and twitter account. Don’t worry this is save, as long the application you use is this application which is the official twitter application from Twitter.
- Now you will be redirected again back to your facebook to select the option for your facebook to allow twitter post on your wall and your facebook fan page if you have any. This example is my account for facebook and facebook page for this site.
- When you click on the select button you will be ask again for granting access for the application to post update on your facebook profile or your facebook page. If you are asking why you have to do this again, it is because the first granting access is for the application for your twitter account, and now is granting access for your facebook account.
- Your facebook and your twitter account is now connected.
Privacy Setting
Facebook tutorial this time is to help you how to set your privacy on facebook. Privacy in facebook means what information that you want to share with other, you decide.
- To start the facebook tutorial about privacy you have to go to account – Privacy settings, and you will see your current facebook account privacy. The dot marks your setting. Like pict example, my current facebook settings is all other set to everyone, but my contact information is set to other.
- Everyone means everyone even if he/she doesn’t know you and doesn’t be friend or connected to you can see the information
- Friends of friends means your friend an your friend’s friend can see the information
- Friends only means only your directly connected friends can see the information
- Custom / other means you select specific people can see or can’t see the information.
- If you don’t really know what to set just click the recommended button it is the recommended settings from facebook. For general settings, you just click one of the everyone, friends of friends and friends only setting.
- For specific settings you can click the “customize settings” menu like pointed in the pict.
